One of the biggest issues I had was a letter where reflexive pronouns were to be highlighted.
The prompt was to choose three of these pronouns from the letter, but the letter contained six. So I had to guess which ones were the ones Grammarian Ltd wanted me to choose. I lost my correct answer streak because I chose one of the “incorrect” ones. It was pretty infuriating, given that those reflexive pronouns were technically correct. This was pretty upsetting to me.Īnother thing I disliked about this game was that it allowed me to purchase an apartment that I actually didn’t have enough money to pay the rent for. I was losing a little bit of money every day in this upgraded living space, and I never could save enough money to move to a cheaper place even though I walked every day to save money and got some awesome win streaks going for extra cash. I ended up having to start the game over because I’d dug myself into a hole that I couldn’t get out of. You have to battle your coworkers for raises and promotions. It’s hard to make an educational game that is actually exciting to play, but Grammarian Ltd managed. As I was playing, the game was regularly being updated with new letters, so I hope these will fix the little grammatical errors and things that caused all my issues with the game.
